Six Sentence Sunday

Welcome to Six Sentence Sunday! This week I am posting a random six sentences of my best-selling, interracial menage, DOUBLE DARE, available in ebook here at Loose Id, in paperback here, or for your Kindle here.

She saved her drink before it could spill all over her ugly bridesmaid dress. Yeah, that would have been a shame: to ruin such a nice, frumpy, pukey pink taffeta dress. One the bride had said she would be able to wear in the future. Like to a cocktail party. Or maybe her own funeral. Yeah, right. No one in their right mind would want to get caught dead in this thing.

Ruining the dress wouldn't have been a loss, but losing her drink would have. She was drinking slammers for a reason—to get good and drunk.

You want a huge fruity drink to take out a bridesmaid dress. My last one? shiny silver. Looked like a full moon with boobs.

Everyone needs those days...drink to get drunk. I've had a few of those nights myself...lol

Totally understandable. Here's hoping she can find friskier ways of ruining that hideous dress.

lol! Fantastic. I hate weddings and pink. Great snippet!

Love it! The bridesmaid dress that doesn't scream 'I'm a bridesmaid dress' is a rarity. But the bride that actually believes the line about wearing it again -- very common. :)

Plans that start with getting drunk never end badly. Putting this on my TBR.

now I can't help but wonder why she wants to be drunk...maybe it's because of the dress...

Oh, that hideous dress has her in a foul mood. Slammers should help in the mood-adjustment department.

Hey, at least she's not the ONLY one wearing that outfit! They could all commisserate and share the pain.

been there, done that. Only mine was pukey olive green with emerald green trim. It was a travasty

Most bridesmaid's dresses are horrible, but I wouldn't think it's reason for getting rip roaring drunk. I wonder what else is going on.

Sounds like someone needs to come brighten her day - and give her a second opinion on the dress!

I'd get drunk too if I was stuck in a pukey pink bridesmaid dress!

So funny! And yet the combination of drinks and hideous dress may explain the eagerness to get out of the dress. Love the heroine's attitude!

Loved the description of the 'pukey' dress - made me hate it too. :)
