Brothers in Blue: Max received a wonderful review
from Hallie's Books Blog:

"This book has all the likes that I crave in the alpha cop trope.  Spoiled rich girl with an attitude, a cop with a chip on his shoulder, commitment issues from both of them and the opposite attraction that will eventually pull them together.
Seriously, this book needs to come with a warning about all the sexiness innuendos and one-liners.  I loved how no matter what situation that Ms. St. James put Amanda and Max in, it always made me smile.  Amanda has some serious growing up to do and her vampiness kinda got old in the beginning but once she figured that she needed to be there for her stepbrother, the light bulb finally comes on.

What got me about Amanda is that the author could have made her one dimensional throughout most of the book and then bam, she grew up.  Ms. St. James took a different approach and let us witness Amanda’s growth not only as a person but as a caregiver and ultimately, a lover in a committed relationship.  Bravo.

Max, I loved him.  Alpha to the core but also realizing how much he really did like Amanda and was willing to give the relationship a chance.  He marveled at how she grew in the book and that only made him love her more.  The dialogue between them was very realistic and at times laugh out loud funny.  I also liked how the town and Max had preconceived notions about Amanda and then realized that they were wrong.

This is a sexy story but it balances out with the pacing, dialogue, and the realistic, believable characters.  I will definitely look for the next book in the series.  Could it be Marc, Matt or Teddy?
That’s a tough one to choose."
