Six Sentence Sunday

Welcome to Six Sentence Sunday! This week I am posting a random six sentence portion of my work in progress "Brothers in Blue: Max."

The thump, thump, thump of the music was so intense that her heart was beating right out of her chest. Amanda fidgeted with the gauzy dress, smoothing it over her hips. She had found the skimpy outfit in “her” bedroom; it was just one of many items of clothes that she had left behind when she had gone to Manning Grove. Two-sided tape kept her breasts contained by the narrow strips of material and the length was so short that she would have to remember to not bend over.

Wearing short dresses and skirts required skill; a lesson Amanda had previously learned the hard way. She knew better now: to carefully squat down--knees delicately together, of course--instead of bending over if she needed to pick something up.

Check out some of my other fellow authors' Six Sentence Sunday!
